- the workshops will be through English and Italian with a translator

- participants will be prescribed pieces on application

- the retreat will involve learning to sing as an ensemble without conductor

- discussion and analysis of Michael McGlynn’s compositions

- the ability to read music is an advantage but not strictly a requirement. Pronunciation guides will be provided.
