CHRISTMAS FROM IRELAND

On November 25 2022 ANÚNA release a 13 track digital album "Christmas from Ireland" recorded in Saint Bartholomew's Church, Dublin. It was recorded for the acclaimed Voces8 Series "Live from London" in December 2020.

“This album was the first time we were back together as a group for nearly a year, and tied into a performance in an empty church that was being filmed. There was no audience and it was a somewhat frightening experience not knowing what way ANÚNA was going to come back, if it all. This could have been the end for all we knew, so much love and care went into the creation of these pieces as a result of that. But we survived.

Featuring ANÚNA classics including three Irish carols - "Jerusalem", "The Wexford Carol" and the crystalline "The First Day" - the album is a fitting representation of ANÚNA during the Christmas season.
